(Just wait, that's what they'll be calling it on the news tonight!)
Here's hoping your trees and your power stay up, and your house stays down!
If you guys don't hear much from the Western Washingtoners today, it's because we're sitting in the dark playing with flashlights and wondering how we ever survived without computers.

I am still here!! My power lines are under ground so I should be ok. I did have a "wild horse rodeo" this morning!! I could hardly get my horses to come in and eat breakfast......they are a little spooked Running around like they were nuts! Skeeter fell down in the mud but luckily she was ok.

I am here I have a lap top so I don't need the power to run it as long as the battery is charged though I still have power though. I am expecting it to go out though we live where there is a lot of trees next to the power lines so go figure. I went out to check the mail and feed and I about got blown away.

Our power is out but we have a generator so we're ok. Where Marti is a couple trees fell down... fortunatly none were close enough to hurt the horses. Ill be going down there later today to check on everything!

I spent last night working on setting all my posts on my temporary shelters. I didn't know I could move 1000lbs in one night! Good thing too, the wind was here but amazingly we still have power! No trees down here, I think the ice storm of 2 years ago cleared us up for a while. None of my horses are at all phased which is great. I'm still wondering what it is going to take for them to get riled up, besides the ones moved last when I switch pastures.
Good luck all - stay safe!

We were without power for about 8 hours. Now that it's back up, we can still hear transformers popping all over town. Sounds like cannon shot. Fingers are frozen solid and I'm having caffeine withdrawals. Must make coffee before the power goes out again. Stay SAFE guys! (hahahaha)

Sounds like you guys got it worse than we did here in Portland - I woke up all night long to the sound of freight trains (the wind) and there are downed trees all over our neighborhood.
Hope everyone and their horses are ok!
