Thank you DDK and NM as well. Today we will have additional x-rays to view and see how we are. I'm sure I'll find a stall, the only question is whether in this town or an hour away. Either way, no problem. Remember, I managed to negotiate only working part-time with hubby. I hope to be back with great updates later today. Thank you everyone for letting me express my fears and for all being so supportive. Mem and I really appreciate you all.

Thank you everyone for letting me express my fears and for all being so supportive. Mem and I really appreciate you all. There is no thanks needed. Thats the great thing about groups like this - we care!! We really care! Not just about "saving the horses" either. We care about each other and the joys and sadnesses in life. Still jingling ... alot! kim

;D ;D ;D Follow-up x-rays show NO displacement!!!! In fact, the vet thinks she may have the angle off just enough, but she is UNABLE to see the fracture! Mem has a very positive prognosis. She will be on stall rest 2-4 months, re-eval at 6 wks and is expected to heal well, probably without pain in her future and possibly even riding (I just want there to be no pain). All 4 vets have consulted and are very positive in her diagnosis. The power of prayer and jingling!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! ;D ;D ;D

That is great, great news! More jingles for a peaceful recovery period... hmm, young one in a stall? Does she like toys?

Last night at the vet's was the first time in a stall and first time from Mom and sister. I will be getting her as many toys as I can without affecting her safety, no balls. No need to step down on a ball wrong and really do herself in.

Stall rest is a bummer for a young one but you'll both survive (toys are good!) and I am so glad to hear the prognosis is so good!

great news Zj - but you know, we could send her positive healing vibes a lot easier if we could see a picture of her.....
