Nysa is an 11 year old QH-type mare. She was rescued privately by SAFE supporters and we are helping her to find a new home. Nysa has insect allergies (sweet itch) that were not managed and have caused her to lose some hair and most of her tail. Her current skin condition is being treated, but she will require complete insect protection during the spring and summer months. She was also underweight when she came but is looking better every day. We have been told that she is well-broke, does very well on trails and is not spooky, but we have not assessed her under saddle yet. She is easy to catch, bathes, clips and loads. Currently in foster care in Kingston, WA. Adoption Fee: $500 Contact Peri for more information: peri@safehorses.org

AAAA - Got any headshots? She looks like a mare I used to 'horse watch' and her foot looks the same as she did. She had a blaze though.

appylover - I don't *think* Nysa has a blaze, but as I haven't seen her in person or without a flymask, I'm not 100% sure. dakota2mariah would be the one to ask!

I edited my previous post and took off the pic, I've been wondering where that girl went .. One day I went and brushed her, gave her treats, tried to halter train her, then the next day she was gone.. I couldn't find her in the pasture, or anything.. I've been looking at CBER and all the horse ad sites, no luck yet.. I promised her if I saw her up for sale I'd grab her... She was a treasure but absolutely puuushhyyyy!

Jamie found a home for Nysa on her own. I don't have the details but I believe it is a very good home where she will be a pasture companion if she does not get sound. I think Jamie has been very busy lately but hopefully she will be back soon and give us an update!
