Just thought Id share a story about Horse Angels second rescue horse. She was a 7 month old palomino filly who was sent to me because the owner couldnt care for his out of control herd. (turned them out, kept breeding with eachother etc.. you get the idea). all of the horses were untouchable and wild. anyways, I rehabbed her and got her trust and gave her to a 7th grade girl (8th grade now) in my 4-H club. She worked with her at my house diligantly for 2 1/2 months, and then me and her mom surprised her one day. She knew Willow was hers, but i wasnt going to let her take her home until August (this was in March-May) because she was still really new at horses. the 1st of June I trailered Willow over to Daly's (Daily) house and she was so happy she started crying. We penned her up in their round pen, and i came out and worked with her with willow at their house. She showed her in colt training at county fair and made it to state fair. she showed her at state and did a great job. she got a red because willow decided to pull a crow hop fit with the saddle (something new shed never done before) and a few newby mistakes, but overall, she did great. (ill get this on my HAR website asap) here are some pics: Day 1: Week 2: Week 4: State Fair: Didnt she turn out cute??
