Introducing 4 years old, Tb mare Blue. She is as sweet as can be and soo beautiful! She came to me from race track with bowed tendon on her right front leg. She is sore on it, but it only has been 2 weeks since the injury... I could not let her to end up any place bad, so she is living with us now and ours 3 tb mares ;D As we only have a 3 stall barn, she is staying in a shelter for now and she is not very happy there. This is also the reason I would like to find her a new , loving home, where she would be rehabed and loved. She is around 16 hh, has nice feet and build. She would be free to a great, loving home only.

Oh she is gorgeous!! Unfortunately I don't have any room. But just a comment on her name. I had a TB 15 years ago, with the name of Sky Blue Waters, also went by the name of Blue. He was the calmest horse, and quite lovely! Good luck finding her a good home, she is gorgeous!

maybe they were related my friend has her half brother , sired by same horse Snowbound...small world ... I like her name BLue also, she came with it and Iam glad it`s nice, because sometimes they call them by their full names and that can be funny

Thank you for aksing. BLue is doing good considering her tendon, she is not that sore anymore but she is still feeling little blue... Looks like that she is gonna be staying with us for a while but if the right home shows up , we wil be very happy for her!

Well, if that is the case then I'll be anxiously watching for more pictures of the pretty lady. How severe was the bow? Where at on the leg? Hopefully her spirits will perk up soon. It's got to be a lot not only coming down from the track, but down to virtual inactivity.

I have not seen any bow before , so to me it is bad, it is big. And I feel the same way, she was so full of her self when they brought her, high as can be from all the stuff they give them there and now, she is on grass hay only, no alfalfa anymore and no work outs or so... so she is probably pretty bored and with her tendon hurting it is no fun... but she is living in grassy paddock, so she can walk around if she wants to or just stand in her stall and watch my other girls and not feeling too left out...I hope she will be feeling more happy soon...

She's going to be quite the horse when she's back in form, you can see it in her eyes. She EXPECTS to be special. I wish I could take her myself; I'm lonely since Finn left and my barn owner sold her property and moved to Hawaii! But I don't have my own property, so I will watch from afar and dream...

Did the trainer give you a treatment plan for the bow?
