www.luckybuckyclothing.com/PonyUp.htmI ran across this today. It looks like the Lucky Bucky Clothing company donates some of their T-shirts to selected non-profits for them to sell (with the non-profit's logo printed on the shirts). There's an application to apply for the 2011 grant. It's called the "Pony Up -- 'Cause You Care" campaign. Sounds like a good idea. I'd buy one.

It almost seems as though SAFE would be a shoe-in for the Lucky Bucky 2011 grant, with having one of the rescues named Bucky B Lucky and all... just sayin'

That's very interesting that SAFE is not listed or that we weren't contacted to apply for the 2010 grant unless the deadline was quite some time ago because I actually contacted them about setting up a fund-raiser for Bucky B Lucky and they'd gone as far as to contact Reber Ranch to see if they could help on a local level. Hmmm, but I'm glad to see that they're stepping up for non-profits and we should totally apply!!! I LOVE my "Oh What Fun It Is To RIDE" Holiday themed Lucky Bucky Clothing shirt

We have recently started a Grant Application committee and I've sent this link along to those involved in that. How exciting would it be to win it!
If you, or anyone you know, has experience writing grants or you want to get involved in that area: please email volunteer@safehorses.org
