We have a bit of a problem with our plans to offer gaming at the show: no one is wiling to run the gaming arena! I have approached several saddle clubs in the area asking for help, but have had no luck. So unless we can find a crew of people to take this over, we may have to cancel gaming at the 2010 show. Which would be a shame because we have the space available to hold it in its own area. The plan is/was to hold gaming in a separate arena starting at about 2pm. So it would overlap a bit with the upper level English classes. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, volunteers? Please?

I have a 4h contact who's checked w/her leadership and they like the idea of helping run the games so she's checking into how many people they can get together for this. They have barrels but no poles or flags. I might be able to get a set of poles from my trainer and flag should be easy to make right? Anyway....cross yer fingers and hooves!!

Hey Jet, any update on this? I'd love to be able to finalize the gaming class list by today so we can post our entry form.

My last update said the 4H leader thought it was a great idea. The only question that I was aware of was equipment but I saw that Catherine Carey had most, if not all of what we needed so it's just a matter of people power. If that leader and one or two helpers can do it, I think it's a go...I have contacted the gal I know to confirm by phone asap.

We're waiting on a final phone call but it appears that the Wrangler Riders 4H of Bonney Lake are willing to run the games. We have the pledge of the equipment we need so let's all cross our fingers and hope this gets finalized today...I'm already getting people asking for sign up info...as I am sure the rest of you are too
