I will need a caller for my Dressage tests. I am planning on doing Intro and Training. Jaime, you interested??
You have to have familiarity with Dressage, how the tests are ridden and be able to recognize where the rider is in the test so you can stay a movement or two ahead. It's not as easy as it sounds, either.

Thats a good idea! One of the reasons I decided not to do one of the dressage tests is that I would never be able to remember the pattern! I can't even remember what classes I go into unless they are written on my hand!

I know it The one and only Dressage test I ever rode was at an Event maybe 10 years ago and I got DQ'd for going off course. Talk about embarrasing. Didn't hurt my score to bad, I made up for it in X-Country and stadium

A great way to memorize them is to do them on foot! Believe me, I look rediculous "trotting" around the arena, but it works! if you want you can come over- we have a smaller arena outfitted with the letters- quite friendly to learn the tests. (i have copies of the intro and TL 1 & 2 tests, too!) I also draw them on paper while i'm at work

I keep meaning to make paper letters to hang in the arena. I have both Intro tests in my head, kind of, but not training. I should download those now.....
Ally - you are showing right? You can't be my caller?

A friend that is very dressage experienced is planning on coming to help me and Lexi - I'm sure she'd be willing to read for whoever needs it.

I almost forgot, I need an adding machine (you know, the old fashioned ones that actually print out paper). Anyone have one they can bring?
