Thank you! You can count on it! I wasn't sure that I'd be a good adoptor, because several of my "horse knowledgeable" friends have told me I need to be able to exercise the horse daily. My schedule as an attorney (working 12-14 hours a day) won't allow me to do that every day. But I think I can feed, clean and give attention to a horse. I'd prefer a horse that is hard to place because my goal is to save a horse that is in danger of not finding a home. I don't need a performance horse or show horse or anything like that.

I wonder if Deeds would play well with a goat. He didn't like the other horses and I'd hate to see what his kicks would do to a goat! Deeds is such a cool horse, I miss him!

Well, all the better if he wouldn't mind being on his own during the day. I'm not sure my husband would be thrilled about the goat thing!
I LOVE thoroughbreds. Don't really know why, but they've got a special place in my heart. They give everything they have and they have such spirit.

Yes they do, As a first time TB owner, I think I finally got Sione figured out. She must be first for any activity(vets, feet) to prevent meltdowns. She's such a brat....but I love her so. When she goes first, no problems.

TB's are so regal, that's where the "me first" think comes from I think. They do have such a spirit and they are so intelligent and sensitive. You can see their soul in their eyes.

The last picture of Deeds shows it perfectly... just that glint in the eye. Even when Finn is dirty and in a mood, there's always that glint...

Oh, he looks happy, and in a nice place with no mud. Thank you Bonnie for posting pictures of him, I miss him and am sorry I just didn't have room for him.

Wow. That's pretty close to where I work (Ruston, Tacoma). Is it possible to visit him?

Yes, it sure is. In fact, I have been unable to get down to visit him myself more than once since he was moved (10 days ago!!) and I feel really guilty about that. So I'd be happy to set up a time that we could meet there and I could introduce you to him and to the barn owner. Just send me a PM if that is something you'd like to do. I would feel better if Deeds had a few more friends to look after him, besides just me and slew.

Jaybird, how do I send you a PM? I'd love to visit him. I set up my monthly sponsorship for him today.
My email is Thompson_216@hotmail.com, you could email me there.
