As some of you know, I've been selling some of the leftover tack for SAFE. Well...I've been offered the opportunity to make a big event sale in February at the Rusty Bar Ranch in Roy. The date hasn't been set in stone but there are apparently fundraising sales in March...so I thought it might be good to get the jump on the sales. If you have any tack you would like to donate to the sale, please PM me. I will be posting more information as I get it nailed down. Bonnie, you should be getting a couple of checks from various parties...I've been able to sell a few more blankets and other items recently!

We have tons of non-waterproof stable sheets and blankets in just about every size - I am sure we have something in a 78 if you want to stop by and go through what we have up here, or Lynn has some as well.

I meant to bring more back with me when I was up there yesterday. Hopefully I have what you need. If not...I may make another trip up there to pick up more.

I do have quite a bit a stuff now. The original plan was to try to do a real tack sale in February but I don't think we have quite enough to make a real sale at this point so I am continuing to sell items out of my home in Lakewood. We have 3 english saddles, 1 western and 1 Aussie...a really nice silver western headstall with reins, lots of snaffle bits, and some incredible riding boots...and blankets...lots of blankets and a lot of other items for the horse and rider. Prices are really great and ALL of the cash goes to SAFE. If you have anything you wish to donate, please let me know. Remember...it is tax deductible. Thanks!!!!

Lynn - I have enough stuff at my place for a whole tack sale. If you don't want to do the February sale then we should plan one up here for the spring time.

Jaime- that reminds me- I still have the saddle you let me borrow from the tack sale stash to use with Cat's mare Thai this past summer. I can list the saddle on craigslist and pass the $$ along, deliver it to Lynn to add to what she's selling, or bring it to you to add to the stash for the next sale. I also bought a headstall to use with Thai that I'd be happy to donate also. Let me know what your preference is.

Sounds like I really do need to make another trip up. We have a 4H group that wants to help clean up the tack and help with the sale for a community service thing. The Rusty Bar Ranch has offered their place to hold the sale...nice, large arena with a warm viewing room - lots of parking. It is in Roy but I think we can make it work. I will see if we can still do this month or if we ned to look at next month. I'm still open to taking on any and all tack people want to sell for SAFE. THANKS

Are there any waterproof turnout sheets in sz. 78 - 80 - 81 - 82? I could use a few!

Are there any waterproof turnout sheets in sz. 78 - 80 - 81 - 82? I could use a few! I think I might have one that came in recently. I will check and see if it is a waterproof. Most of the blankets we have right now are not waterproof. I will be picking up the rest from Jaime's this Saturday and be able to give a better assessment on what we do have.

Anything that is waterproof I keep for the rescue, unfortunately.

Are you getting in new donations? I didn't realize that...yes, if its something we could use I'd like to keep them. We go through a lot of blankets and even with as many as we have right now I had to buy 1-2 this year as we didn't have certain sizes.
Also, if you are collecting donations, we should make sure that the donator gets a donation receipt from us.

I've been having people who purchase items send their checks directly to Bonnie as well.
