I am on Facebook and apparently have the super-power to whip up an event page in lightening speed....much to my friend's annoyance sometimes, I'm sure!
If you'd like me to I can post one ;D

For those of us who aren't Facebook savvy (like me), how do we link this event to our profile and/or newsfeed?

If it was set up as an event through the application icon at the bottom of the Facebook page, she would need to add you as a friend or invite you via your email address.

Ah.... well that explains why, when I click on share, nothing happens. Can the administrator for the SAFE facebook Cause page (I forget who this is) set something up, so that all the SAFE fans on facebook can link it to their facebook pages? That seems like a more effective way to advertise it.

I don't think you have to be on my friend list (of course I can't think of anyone HERE that I wouldn't want to be on my list ;D ) but I'll check the settings. I'm going to guess that it's just a matter of either being on the invite list or listing one's self as attending or Maybe Attending ETA: all of the options are activiated so anyone should be able to see this event, rsvp and 'share'...or friend me if you want to or....maybe you can paste over the address as a link to your wall

You just have to click on the share button under the picture and it will bring up a window where you can write a message if you want and it will post to your facebook wall. That's what I did and now it's on my page.

I will supply all the beverages for this ride. I am planning to buy Coke, Diet Coke, bottled water and coffee. Now all we need is someone to loan us their coffee urn!! I'm so excited for this!

Okay - we can mark the coffee urns off the list! I am borrowing 2 from a co-worker so it looks like the beverages are all taken care of now! I am also bringing at least one cooler......possibly two for the cold drinks.

Is this something that the yearlings could go to? Like walk them around or something for exposure?

I think it would be great to get Sinatra, Lola and Scotti out. They have never been ponied, so that may not be a great idea, but they lead really well!

I can only take what I can fit in my two-horse trailer, so unless someone is offering to haul, the yearlings aren't going to be able to make it.

Let me know what I can do to help. I will be bringing horses and a helper. Also, I can pass out flyers. Can you tell me more about the sponsor a rider program? Is that 20.00? or 5.00 a hand? Or??

I can come to this! Very happy to help in any sort of way. If anyone has an extra horse they would lend to a novice, that would be awesome.
