Hi all, let's get a list together of the stuff we're going to need for the show:
Does anyone have:
• a laptop computer with a portable Internet connection? we need one to be able to run credit card payments.
• walkie talkies - we need two sets
• a 100 ft tape measure
Please post on this thread if you can think of anything else we need or if you're willing to bring any of the needed items!
thanks!

I just put our 100ft tape measure into my SAFE bag. You can scratch that one from your list. I will check to see if our walkie talkies are here too. I may of lent them out. I also carry a Horse First-Aid kit in my trailer. If anyone should happen to need some minor fixing up.

We are also going to need letters for the showmanship pattern. I think we need A, B, C and D. Are there cones available at the showgrounds? I could print big letters and tape them to cones if there are some there. If not, we will need cones too.

I've got my walkie talkies on my desk, if you want them again.

What about signage directing parking for general public and for the unloading of horses? I know we will also (hopefully) have a few people out there giving directions but it's always good to have a few visual aids as well. Do we need saw horses to post?

Signage is a good idea. So it looks like we need:
2 walki-talki sets (to be provided by Wendy and Lynn) Cones for showmanship Letters for showmanship
Are there jump standards available for Hunter Hack? Will we need to have forks and carts for clean-up? How much stuff is available at the park?

I am bringing my QuickShade cover for the prize drawing area. Are there any other covers needed? I think Jet and Les brought one last year also. They are very handy to have, especially if it is going to be sunny on that day.
I have a small card table to use. But we could use another card table if some one has a small table to lend for the prizes.

I think we still have a pop-up...one of ours became a casualty to the storms last winter I'll check w/Les because I think we have two...and didn't I bring one to the tack sale?! ANYWAY....I also have TWO 6' tables and a card table that I was planning on bringing. I'm packing the truck on Thursday night and Les will drive it out either Friday after work or on Saturday morning...early. We also need the promo kit and banner....hopefully it's in the passion room at Jaime's. I never ended up looking for it when we hosted the Morgan group so I'm betting it's still there.

Do we need to bring snacks/water/etc. for the volunteers? That would be thoughtful and much appreciated! If someone wants to bring a cooler just stop by any McDonalds and they'll fill it with ice for free! We do it all the time, in fact I may do it Friday for my adventure

I picked up 2 - 24 packs of bottled water today, so we have that. I have a big cooler that I will bring as well.
It'd be swell to have some donuts or muffins for breakfast.

We also need the rolls of tickets. I gave them back last year and do not have any.

I have a roll of tickets I was planning on bringing but we may need at least one more - so many wonderful items for raffle. I will bring my plastic jugs for the tickets to be dropped into again. I am also bringing 2 popups, a couple of card tables, a couple of 6 foot tables, extension cords and power strips. Do we still need road cones?
