I'd be interested in coming over for a day to come play/help out. My May filled up very quickly though. I now only have the first or last weekend of May available.

I could use a refresher and my husband wants to show his mare at the SAFE show. Depending on the bike racing schedule, we would like to come.

Merle's daughter has lots of experience in area as well, but lives out of state.

Did we ever come up with a date for the showmanship clinic? Sorry if I missed it in the previous posts. I would love to bring Mercedes. We're having a heck of a time with our pivots! Please let me know if we have a date!

Just a thought... but what about having some kind of bake sale or something at the show? I'm willing to contribute my time for that, if there are others intersted as well. PM me if anyone else is interested in helping me set one up.

I was at costco today and thinking of the concessions. Have we decided on what the concession situation will be this year?

Yep- back on page one Bonnie has a bunch of pictures of the gorgeous grounds.

Craig and I will be there. We finally got a trailer so I want Craig to show his mare and I might want to jump on as well for a class or two and I am planning on bringing my mini for "bribe your horse". But, my first priority is helping out, so whatever needs to be done, I'm ready.
PS. Whitewolf, if you need "le log" for the trails course again, let me know. It's around here somewhere.

I told Mindy that she needed to come home and give us all a showmanship clinic. She says...buy me a ticket. Hummm, I might do that. Yesterday she was working her mare in the arena. Her horse tripped and they fell. Callie came all the way over but didn't land on Mindy. They are both going to be ok. At least Mindy didn't fall on her bad shoulder. You just never know when disaster will strike.

I have a lemonade stand, like for real. We are Fresh Girl Refreshments, and would be happy to do the show. We do lemonades and ice cream floats, so warm weather is good for us, and yes all proceeds would go to SAFE.

Now that lemonade stand idea sounds like a winnner!! I remember last years show was soooo hot outside, that would have been a great refreshment stand to have!!

Sorry to hear about Mindy, merle. It's been a bad year for us girls! If Sinatra is still around, I would love to be his 'Ambassador" at the show and take him around to meet everyone, and take first place in showmanship

Honeydo, I'd love to use your log again! ;D eta: I found myself with a carpenter who just loves it when I volunteer him for things. He hasn't heard yet that he will be constructing some obstacles for my course. LOL ;D
