Parklane Gallery has a show opening this weekend 10/10/09 and running through the end of the month: Fur, Feathers & Fins, an animal themed art exhibit and juried show benefiting animal charities.
Many beautiful art pieces have been entered into this show and when the piece sells the buyer will get to choose which animal charity they'd like a percentage of the proceeds to go to. S.A.F.E. is one of the choices and the only horse charity on the list. There are actually several equine themed pieces including one that looks exactly like Coconut!!
The gallery would like to host a reception for the charities involved and has invited any of the SAFE supporters to come by during open hours on Saturday 10/17. All of the art is lovely and there's something for everyone...including a DONKEY piece ;D
Even if you can't make it for the reception, come by the gallery any time this month and enjoy the show.
