Since we're going to have lemonade, we've decided to also run a Bake Sale along side the Tack Sale & Betsy, one of our newest volunteers, has offered to help out with planning that & will also be baking Horse Treats to see as well !!
Please post here if you're interested in baking for the sale!
I recall some of our younger volunteers were looking for a way to help out...this is an awesome way!!!
...of course EVERYONE is welcome to donate ;D
Items for bake sale will need to be delivered to the sale site (Jaime's Farm in Monroe) on the day of the Sale.
I will probably bring a batch of Cup Cakes myself!!

I'll bring a coffee cake, does anyone have a large coffee maker? We can sell coffee with the baked goods. Let me know if I should bring coffee, cream sugar etc for the coffee. Will keep it simple.

Coffee would be excellent!
I'm about 10 minutes away from Jamie's ... I can grab the coffee, cream, sugar, paper cups, etc on the way there that morning.
I don't have a large coffee maker - anyone?

I think I still have a large coffee maker. I will look. I plan to come early to help clean/ set up tack. I also have a couple of tables. Do you need them? I can bake something too.

I checked and yes I have a coffee pot. Could do hot water too. I even pulled it in to make sure it works. It's good to go.

I am thinking I might make the 3 plus hour trip to attend and help at the tack sale. School is out on the 10th, so I think I deserve to go have alittle fun! My grandma lives in Duvall so I could stop in and visit too. Need to go thru my tack room see if I have anything else to donate.

I'm a school teacher, and Tully's would donate free coffee when we had professional development days. Not sure where the nearest Tullys is, or if that would even work. We provided our Tax ID number and they provided as much coffee as we could use. I would think saving horses is just as important as saving kids!! They provided everything, coffee, sugar, cups, etc...

hooti4me - anything that we can sell individually - cookies, cupcakes, or easily sliced/wrapped items would be great.

Well unfortunately you'll have to scratch my name off the list, to bring something. Looks like I won't be able to come. After spending $550. in hay (that went all over the place) and having irrigation issues. I need to save the money I'd spend to come over. (2 tanks of gas, and hotel room) Not sure what the irrigation issue will cost us, kinda stressing that one. No water for a week now. I do want to make the drive over to visit SAFE's farm and horses, but it will have to be afew weeks. (at least after payday)
