The financial considerations are certainly weighing in on peoples minds more these days than the recent past. As with many things these days; there are tremendous deals to be had...and these horses I would consider tremendous deals..., but if people can't work out the budget then "it is what it is." It is certainly not a negative reflection on Willow. It seems simply an adoption that fell victim to the present economy.
Fortunately it seems there has been a lot of recent interest in Willow so we at Kea's Crest have high hopes another adoptive home will come along soon! : ) She is such a beauty!

What great news and great pictures. She is such a beautiful horse. If we hadnt already adopted two SAFE horses we would be over there asking to adopt Willow ourselves.

Willow's adoption has been approved and she is scheduled to go to her new home on Saturday, assuming there are no issues with her vet check.

Congrats to Cynthia and Willow! May you have many wonderful years together.
I had the pleasure of doing the reference check for Willow's new mom and can't tell you how thrilled I am for both. I am confident that miss Willow has really won the ownership lottery (although SAFE increased her odds by at least an order of magnitude!) and is going to a wonderful home indeed.
I hope that Willow's new mom will stop by from time to time to update us on their adventures together.

Willow is on her way to her new home! Her new mom is a vet and has a beautiful farm with rolling green pastures where she raises goats sheep (How did I get that wrong!). And, get this...the name of the road she will live on is "Willow Road"! So it really was meant to be! She will be doing English Pleasure/trail with her, nothing competitive.
Willow didn't want to get into the straight load trailer they bought, so after about an hour we bagged it and I loaned them my slant-load trailer. The princess has her opinions!
Congratulations Cynthia!

1100 pound Princesses carry a lot of influence! and their point of view can be fairly persuasive. So glad another of Dutchess' and Emma's sib's/half sib's found a great home.

My friend remembers this horse from when she use to board her horse at Jeans. Her name was Seashell then. Anyways, my friend is really glad to see that she is doing better!
