If you ever have the need for site visits in the San Francisco Bay Area I would like to volunteer my services.

Thank you Sandi. Skemper - I'm pretty sure she's doing fine (as in, don't panic), the site visit didn't work out because I didn't plan it far enough ahead of time, so she was out of town when I was *in* town... I'm heading out of town until Sunday and will PM you then - thank you for caring!

Skylineacres, thanks for offering! I'm assuming from your name that you are in the Portland (NW) area? I am in Portland too, and also board my horse. Nice to meet you!

I see this is a little late... But I would love to help with anything in the kitsap/mason area. Wether it be working with horses, site checks, or reference checks. I'm all in!

I would just like to say that I have never learned more about care and training horses in my 15+ years of being around them than I have in the past year of volunteering for SAFE. The ladies at the heart of this organization are true horsewomen and the most compassionate human beings I have ever met.
If you can spare an afternoon to muck stalls, treat rainrot and otherwise spend quality time with one of the fosters, you will make a difference in the life of that horse and in yourself.

I know I've already posted here, but if theres any need for help with any of the above mucking, grooming, loving on, whatevers needed just let me know. I was going to post this a couple days ago (ya know, just in case my horse crushes Pie and Isabelle needed some extra love ) but I'm frequently in the monroe area if any help is needed with the new rescues. Like I said, just let me know!

For anyone else interested in volunteering, I am compiling a list of willing and able bodies. Please go to the following web page and fill out the questionnaire so that when we need to start contacting people we will have all of your information handy. We may need to move quickly on some upcoming projects. www.safehorses.org/you_help/volunteer.htmlYour information of course will remain confidential.
