I wanted to start a thread to identify which businesses we are targeting as sponsors for the show and who is going to approach them. As Sponsors are solidified, I will list them on this post. Class sponsors can be handled on the public show forum. Sponsorships pledged:The Parrot Heads of Puget Sound ($100) Priscilla Wood ($100) Equestrian Properties (?) Barn Pros (?) Efficient Arena (?) Sponsorships paid:Amici Italian Eatery ($500) Tracy Setzer Realty ($250) Ken Wood ($100) My goal today is to complete the sponsor package so that we can run with it. Someone please slap me if I don't accomplish this goal!

Here's an idea: Yesterday I was in a feed shop and noticed that Oster is now making their grooming kits in LIGHT PURPLE!!! Can someone volunteer to get in touch with Oster and see if they'd donate any of these kits and/or sell them to us at a discount, to use as prizes?
Kind person who is doing this:Whitewolf

Noble has already been taken care of by Jenny (cardicorgi) from when the shelter was donated a little while back I believe. At least check with her before contacting Noble.

I will ask Olson-Mills, I could do Gift Horse too, I just won't have time for a few weeks so if someone gets there before me, that is probably great!

Olsons does it online now - so I just submitted a sponsorship application. Do we take donations of items as prizes?

What would a guess be for the number of people that would be at this show? It may be a selling point for getting a sponsor.
Thank you ;D

I contacted The Gift Horse Saddelry today and they said that they don't donate money, but would be willing to donate gift certificates or prizes (door, raffle, high point ) We need to let them know what we would like.
There are four owners and they get together every few weeks to go over business and donations since they get hit often.
Would someone please let me know what they can offer so I can go back to them?
Also, went to DeJong Sawdust and Shavings so will hopefully get something from them.
