I would gladly donate the washer/dryer set that I just posed in the tag sale... not sure if it qualifies. Someone would have to come pick it up though...
I have lots of kids books. How do you feel about those? All are in excellent condition. I have a *few* non kids books too, again, all in excellent condition. Mostly contemporary fiction.

Definitely yes on the kids books - I would like to somewhat limit how many books we take - I have found that many do sell but many do not and they are heavy, take up a bunch of room and are a mess. As far as the washer/dryer - I think that would do better on craigslist for a very attractive price if Jaime does not want them for the new facility. I am trying to avoid really big pieces only because we are short on help and ALL charities are short of "man power". So perhaps in the future we could take huge heavy items ( I know these probably aren't all that heavy - but they are cumbersome) when we are better organized and have more time and help to devote to this.

I forwarded the list to my friends/family and have already had positive feedback on what people are wanting to donate. I have hope for a good sale!
It never hurts to ask....you never know who's been waiting for something they CAN do to help!!

No pressure at all on the washer/dryer. I have them taken care of otherwise but did want to offer them to safe. Unfortunately we are short on time with them. As for the books. I'd be very happy to offer them and if they don't sell will cheerfully accept them back and dispose of them via other means (trade them or donate them). I don't have mountains... maybe one box altogether.

So can we get a count of who will be able to be there to help during the sale? I will be there (since it is at my place) and one lady from the HOA will be there.
Hours wise, I am thinking 9am to 5 or 6pm?

I have a great idea for the price stickers, however, I need to know SAFE's official colors. Anyone?

So maybe we should do shifts, like 5 hours each? That way the whole day isn't eaten up by this for everyone. Right now, sounds like there will be 3 of us. Can anyone else stop by for a few hours?

Does anyone have the SAFE logo saved as a file? (eps.jpeg, bit, pdf) I only have it as a Word document .
Would 1" glossy, removable, work?
IMHO of hours, 5 is WAY to long. Get the word out and get people down to two if you can or three at the most.

Lavendar/purple is correct. Unfortunately I doubt I'll be able to come up for this. Val - about books - I assessed and purchased used and antiquarian book collections for my former employer for 7 years. If I can help from afar with pricing books, I'd like to do that. Also, if people *do* donate books, it might be a good thing to advertise that there are books at the sale to attract the scouts. There are lots of people who make a living by buying underpriced used books at garage sales, etc, and then reselling them on ebay (or to booksellers like my former employer). Keep an eye out for stuff that looks out of the ordinary - and if you have questions be sure to PM me.
