Finn's new barn is set up so everything is enclosed- you get out of one pen, you're basically just in a bigger pen. Apparently in the morning, my dear barn manager lets Finn out of his stall, and then he walks behind the tractor to his pasture. While she tosses out for the rest of Finn's "herd", he's nice enough to clean out the tractor bed for her.

Kdunham - I am absolutely in LOVE with your dog. I love border collies - had a mix from the pound as a kid that was the best dog ever. When I bought my farm I adopted one from a border collie rescue, but unfortunately, she had an extremely high drive to run and was also very clever and while my property is fully fenced, she was squeezing through narrow openings and running under hot wire fences to get out onto the road, and my road is very busy and not safe, so I ended up giving her back to the rescue because I couldn't stand to think that she might get hit.
Angel - Finn is adorable and looks great in his winter fuzzies! Love to see nice round TBs in the winter time - I know how hard it can be to keep them that way.

I am convinced I have the easiest-keeping TB in the world. Grass hay day and night, he calls it good. Of course, he's also not working right now. We'll up the ante when spring comes and the work begins. I love his pictures- barn manager sent those to me as a surprise! You can't tell, but he's actually loose there- his pasture is behind him, but he won't leave that tractor til it is EMPTY.

I'll see your cute muddy dog and corgi and raise you Chewy with his pony pop! (Which I believe can only be beaten by Desi with his tongue sticking out if memory serves) BAM!

Where I was about a week ago (El Salvador): It was mid-90s during the day and mid-60s at night for most of the time we were there. And what I DID NOT ride while I was there:
