Where did you get your tank Laurie? I got it at work. It was a tank of honey. We had a special shipment because there was a problem with the other tanks. When Kurt saw these, he immediatly asked if he could have them when they were empty. You might want to check out the large bakeries up that way. I know we have a plant in Bellevue. You might be able to talk the recieving department out of one if they have them. They are usually just thrown away unless someone wants one. I have seen something like this for sale for quite a bit of money, so I know people are getting them and then reselling them. If we ever get anymore in, I could let you know. Laurie

I thought I would take a picture of Wind Dancer and show everyone. She is the foal of Teddie, the bucking stock mare. She has grown a lot in the last year. I had her in with Teddie about a week ago and she is as tall in the butt as Teddie. She does not have the bone structure that Teddie has, she is a little more refined so I am guessing that her sire must not of had any draft in him. Unless, of course, she is going to grow some more. She is only 2 1/2 years old now, so I suppose she could still grow. I do hope her front will grow some more, up to the level of her butt. As you can see, she is black. She had some tangles in her mane and Kurt was not patient enough to work them out and cut them, so her mane is shorter than it was. It is very thick and wavy. I tried to get Kurt to stand her properly, but it was not working out to well because Dream wanted some attention too. (Are there any animals who do not get jealous from attention being shown to someone other than them?)

I thought I would share a picture of Teddie I took during the snow and ice storm. She, like Jazzy, preferred to stand outside a lot of the time.

Aw, she is so cute! I love her ears. My QH stood out in the storm too and her blanket was covered with a sheet of ice and her eyelashes were frozen, too.

I wanted to post an updated picture of Jazzy. She has been here almost a year now. I decided to post it next to the one above that was taken a couple of months after she was her. I wanted to see if she looked different because I thought she was adding a little muscle over her back and hips. LOL, do you see a pattern here? Standing there eating with a typical Arab tail set. I still have not been able to track down any previous owners. The last two letters I sent, one was returned and the other I got no response. I will keep trying though. She seems to be content here, though I did not plan to keep her. She will be 28 this year. I guess she does not look bad for an old lady.

Here is my newest and last addition to my herd. He was left by his previous owner when they moved. The new land owners said they would keep him for awhile, but his owners never came back. The new property owners tried to contact them, sending registered mails and calling, but they always had an excuse as to why he was still there. The sheriff was apparently called and they said he could be rehomed. Also a rescue was contacted, but they were full. He was at risk of going to the Enumclaw auction as they did not want to feed him through another winter. I almost got him in January, but they tried one last time to contact the owners. Anywhere, here he is. Meet Santa Fe Bay. Son of the great legendary Khemosabi. He is 18 and still a stallion. Soon to be a gelding. In training right now to see if he still knows how to be ridden. I think he has sat in the field without much handling for almost 5 years. I think he has been shown and has a couple of registered foals.

I finally went to see my new guy. He is very cute. And very small. Good for me, closer to the ground. I watched him be worked on the lunge line and under saddle. He is doing great for an 18 year old newly gelded guy with minimal training.
