If she's tattooed, she's broke. No two ways about it.
Not all trainers are used to dealing with OTTBs so I wouldn't take any negativity very seriously.
Sunline shows physical evidence of having flipped over multiple times in her past, and has never misbehaved in any way with me. Sometimes they had very good reason for what they did! Most of these feedlot horses were not owned by nice people...

Thanks Cat, another thing, she stood and did not move a foot while being mounted, and the "winded" or enlargement in her neck, this horse has ran my pasture in laps and has never coughed once. I may be wrong but maybe the enlargement is due to years and years of windsucking and cribbing on the pipe, almost like an over developed muscle.

She sounds like she did great!

Sadly Sione has been very ill, horrible fever 104.5, and internal infection, she has been on meds since last week and is improving, however, the vet did discover heart arrhythmia along with her murmur..so, sadly that most likely will be her demise in the future....but in the mean time she is a happy retiree...thanks for asking Cat. She is is not as fat as that pic makes her look..lol

Tina hasn't updated this thread in a while, but she posted to FB that she lost Sione today. RIP sweet girl.

Tina is really going to miss that sweet mare. Sione was quite the character and a wonderful horse.

Thanks ladies, its hard to deal with, I love taking in the old timers and making them as healthy and happy again, however, they are "old horses" and in the end they leave me heartbroken because I love them dearly.
