Yeah, plus his Mom tells him every day he has to get to be 17 hands like his dam because he is going to the PHBA World Show to win the Working Hunter and the Jumper.

She was so ugly in that last picture it almost makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth. Good thing she is cute now!

LOL. Hey, I love Frankie but right now he looks most like a little golden goat. He has the TB ewe neck, huge TB ears, the "I was an orphan" pot belly and tons of hair on the underside of his head. These big babies do not look really good until age 2 if not 3.

What a pretty picture!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW the mountain is GORGEOUS! Good placement of a Toad! LOL
Yes I am putting Dally down tomorrow and he and Toad are quite bonded. It was going to be hard enough to let Dally go without Toad running and calling for him so Liz graciously offered to let him come and keep Buena company for the next 2 weeks until I am back from Montana with Hondo. He and Toad are buddies too so I am hoping for a seamless transition. I have to say Toad and little Buena hit it off instantly and he may be just as sad to leave Liz's after 2 weeks!
Thank you again Liz for your understanding and your willingness to take on the Toadster for a couple of weeks.

You are very welcome. And as far as the pic goes, it's from my phone since my camera is on the fritz (dropped one too many times!). Thankfully I have figured out some tricks to using the camera phone feature and occasionally the shots turn out as nice as this!

Dally came off the lot around the same time as Sunline and they both had the best last couple of years imaginable. I will never forget seeing the "after" pics of Dally and almost falling off my computer chair. I have never seen anyone make THAT big of a difference in a rescue horse in that short amount of time. He had a rough life so it was so much fun watching him come out of his shell slowly and realize he was safe with you. I will always remember him spending that first day with Frankie following him all over the pasture like the little gold colt was his personal responsibility, and the day I finally found his itchy spot and got him to stretch his neck and make faces like a "pet horse." I'm sorry you're losing him but so happy he has enjoyed these last two years in a place where the hot mush just kept on coming and he never had to worry about a thing.
