How bad was the bow? Was it a high or low bow?

just an update on Blue. She is doing much better, can walk pretty good now, not that sore anymore. Her bow is looking little smaller. She put some weight on, whitch is good! She is pretty calm horse, it`s amazing. She gets to go out with my other girls now and she enjoys it a lot...

I'm so glad to hear it! She's a beautiful girl, and from what it sounds like is a sweet horse. Glad she hasn't been ruined by racing.
I personally am looking forward to more pics and updates. You're doing a wonderful thing!

another update on Blue. She got her tendon ultrasounded and it`s healed! yay! So I hoped on her back few times in the arena. No clue what leg means but is very good about it! Can`t wait to take her out on trails. She made friends with my grey mare and they adore each other will try to get pics up soon. She is very laid back, low on totem pole and gets along with anyone if they are not pushing her around , good for farrier and just good all around

I have to get some pictures of her up. She is a good girl out on trails but still needs more miles, does not seem to be big fan of water though SHe has the most beautiful gaits , very floating and springy trot. She is up for adoption on a contract, would be nice dressage horse or pleasure trail girl. She is very fancy looking!

thanks Leahlady. She is a looker I wonder if the bump on her back could be a rib out? Has any of you guys have any experience with that? I forgot to mention she has parrot mouth. It does not cause her any problems, just when grass is short, she can`t get it... She lost a shoe( 3rd time this month) so my friend pulled the other shoe off too, but she is limping a little now they sure are tearing around a lot these days loving the sun and dry.

She is a looker - well done! She just screams "Hunter Pony!" If she had a rib out, I would think it would be uncomfortable, does she give any signs of discomfort under-saddle? I just lovelovelove her coloring

it seems to bug her a little when ridden in the arena. My vet thinks that she might have broke a rib at one time and it has calcified and made a bump but we may be totally wrong and it may go away with time... You can`t see it but feel it... it`s not huge but it is there...but she does not seem to care about it out on trail... She really would be amazing in dressage, her movement is to die for! thank you for compliments ! I`ll let her know that
