She must be getting gorgeous as she sheds out. She is a stunning filly even all fuzzy and skinny!

well, the weather didn't get nicer...rained. We did get some pictures of the little girls after Dr Hanna was out to give them shots and check them over. I sent Jamie and Monica the pictures I took. Hopefully, some will get posted soon. Everyone was surprised how Miss Emma is trusting people and how good she was for the vetting. I'm a proud foster mama.

Emma and Holly are in the blog today. blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/horsebytes/archives/139100.aspThanks to Merle's suggestion, I was able to catch Dr. Hannah & Kelsey there too. They've come a long way. I will put up more pictures, including Merle's a bit later but now its time to go out in the sunshine!

Thanks Monica! An other wonderful article on the little girls. I want to draw wings on the one picture of Emma. She is a fairy Princess for sure. Great pictures!

Wow! Emma is really a pretty horse. She sure has done well. What a beauty. She is certainly one of the many bright spots to focus on for encouragement during the difficulties some of the others are having.

It's been awhile since I've given an update on Emma and Holly. Both are doing wonderful! Dr Hanna was out last week and daphine was out today. Both seemed very pleased with the girls. Emma is so pretty!

Emma will be too tall for me when she gets full grown. I'm 5'2" and like shorter horses. Emma is almost as tall as Holly and has lots of growing yet. Holly is more "my" kinda horse. The stall they share at night is getting smaller by the day. I am going to start on the seperation issues that Emma has slowly. At this point if Holly gets out of Emmas' sight, Emma starts to panick. Come time for adoption, they most likely won't go as a pair. I've worked hard on biulding Emma's self- confidence and she has come a long way but Holly is still her life line.

I love tall horses. It feels grand to be so WAY up there. My head is apparently certified for "up to a 10 foot drop" as was tested while working on the roof of my barn so 5 feet or 7 feet really doesn't matter. I think it may actually encourage me to hold on a little tighter when I look down from a tall horse. : )
Emma is a beauty and if her case would get settled we would offer to adopt her as soon as she is ready. The hard part is not filling up my pasture before she is ready.
I'm sure she will do just fine eventually parting with her friend if she has new friends to join at her "forever home." ; )

I took advantage of the weather clearing this afternoon and played with Emma and Holly. Then they got to be tied to the tree and have a little beauty shop done. Picked up feet, got weight taped and height checked with the How-tall-stick. Emma is 595 lbs and 14.05 tall. Only 1" shorter than Holly at this point. Emma will make someone a wonderful horse. She is really fun to play with. Very Smart!
