This is a bit of a brainstorm, but would a regular neoprene cinch work for a back cinch? the buckles look like they would work. If so, I have one that is pretty small from the mustang that we lost a few years ago that you are welcome to use. I am in Tacoma but could meet up with you. It might be easier than trying to find such a small leather back cinch!

Thanks Japser, I will keep that in mind! If the one I am considering won't work I will keep looking or try that idea. I could probably even get a regular front cinch like the one I have to work maybe. Would look like a double-rigged saddle that way. Old skool.

Gosh he's cute. Amazing what you can get for $50. Nice work with him. He's going to be a great little horse for your son. He's a lucky guy.

Little stinkpot has a cold. Back on sulfas to hopefully get him feeling better before his dental appointment and "boy bits check" in a couple of weeks.

Dodger is back to full health and spending a week at Timepiece Arabians in Olympia this week while my son does full day horse camp. I get to play with the stinker pony all day. Oh, and he has a fan page now, so you can keep up with his latest exploits there: www.facebook.com/pages/Dodger/118934604814638OH! And his bloodwork/hormone level check came back. He is 100% pure gelding! Guess he needs to just learn to keep it put away!

Dodger, Buena and KT have a new friend. www.facebook.com/pages/Dewey/101543753233308Meet Dewey. A free little 38" pony I picked up today (for free). Jackson is looking forward to honing his skills on something a little safer than Dodger until Dodger is ready for J and vice versa.

OK, both ponies did great at a play day yesterday. Dodger is finally getting calmer. Calm enough after me riding for a while that I can let Jackson sit on him without worrying that he's going to pull something stupid. And Dewey is having more moments of brilliance and Jackson actually can ride him solo, sort of.
