I think we are better off going with 15 & under/16 & over. I tend to think this is more fair, too. If you're not going to have it how most open shows have it, which is 13/under, 14-18, 19+, then I think 15/under and 16+ is the most fair to keep the little kids from having to go up against an adult sized teen.

I am so glad you are considering putting the gaming back in. We have so many kids in this area who live for the Play Days and the games...barrels, poles...We can really highlight these classes in the barns around here. If you do need someone who knows gaming, the owner of the Rusty Bar Ranch is quite the pro. Let me know if you need to get in touch with her.
Thank you ;D ;D

Leslie is comfortable judging a gaited class, so how about adding Gaited Pleasure before Hunter Hack? That could be an English, Western, Saddleseat class. Yea? Nay?

The gaited horse class sounds great. Did we make it a two gait (walk and alternate gait) or three gait (includes a canter) class?

I don't know. I would think 3 gait. Thoughts?

Pleasure classes usually include 3 gaits.

Three gait is fine, many gaited horses three gait, so go for what the majority would want. Mercedes however, doesn't canter under saddle (some don't, not uncommon in walkers). Two gait suits us best, so naturally that is what I would wish for, but otherwise, I will gladly cheer the others on!! Don't plan it just for us! I will let all my contacts know that there will be a gaited horse class!

I was going to post under the class sponsorship thread but when I go to it, I become a guest and not Trillium, so I cannot post. Why is that? Anyway....I wanted to let you know I sent in my money for my half-class sponsorship this morning. Valerie is going to pick our class.

Looks great to me! We will practice for Bribe Your Horse with the old red mare. She comes when I call her at a trot even without food, AND she's a race winner. Now the only question is, can I run as fast as she can? I got kinda winded staying ahead of Class last year... LOL!

I would make the gaited class 2 gait. Think you would get a lot more horses entered. Lots of gaited horses don't canter under saddle much.

Sounds good to me! Let's make it 2 gait.
Also let's make it so the winner gets Sinatra. ;D

I'm hoping to bring Sasha to the show! I couldn't locate it offhand and had a question others are likely to have so I thought I'd post. Can you sign up for the walk class and the walk/trot class or is an either-or situation? Thanks! Megan
