It's been a long time coming but we are already getting confirmation for vendor booths for our show and I want to make sure that we get the word out to everyone who wants to participate.
We are choosing to not charge for the booths but hope that vendors will be able to either make a direct donation and/or use some of the profits they make that day to donate to SAFE to help us continue to help the horses. Just to let you know, the venue will be charging SAFE about $10 per booth, so anything over that amount would be sincerely appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
We do have a lot of space available and yes, it is first come first served. I am trying to see if we can get vendors in the evening before to set up but if that is not allowed we will be there setting up by 6:30 am (show begins at 8am) at which time the vendor may choose where they would like to be.
I wish we had tents, tables and chairs to loan out. Unfortunately, we do not. There are plenty of shade trees and space the vendor to set up their own tent for large displays. Water, restrooms and other amenities will be available. The only thing we cannot sell ourselves is food without a food-handlers permit. If this changes I will post here.
Please PM me let me know if you have a vendor who would like to be considered or any questions or concerns. I will be making the booth arrangements.

Are there going to be any food vendors there? It's a long day without food.

Yes, we have hired the Chuckwagon (the vendor who does the food for all the 4H shows etc.). They have a large variety of food, including burgers, fries, sandwiches, breakfast, coffee, soft drinks etc. They will be there an hour before our show starts and will remain until the end. The food is good, and they are very nice people!

Lynn, I talked to Jet and I'm making the "Nonies" for the show. All proceeds from the adoption of a Nony goes directly to SAFE. www.noniesatplay.blogspot.com. I just wanted to confirm that this is okay before I spend my vacation making 75 more Nonies.

SAFE would like to have a Tack Sale Booth. In order to do so I need at least 4 volunteers to man this booth during the day for 3-or-more-hour time slots. Please PM me if you would like to do so with your preferred time and for more information.

Still adding to the vendors. If you know of anyone who would like to have a booth (feed/tack stores, vets...). Thanks

Lynn, I can put the Nonies amongst the tack and help man the tack booth. I'm going to DRAG the hubby with me if I can. I don't think I'm going to show, but will find someone to cover if I pop in one. I'm on vacation in the Caribbean and have access intermittently to e-mail. If not, I'll be back to Seattle on the 18th!!

Wonderful. Thank you Brooke! It would still be great if we could get a couple more people to help at the tack sale booth and we would need a few hands helping to get the tack ready for sale and bringing it from Jaime's to the fairgrounds. Any takers?

Lynn, what time do you want me there? I think I saw somewhere 6am? Is that right? I'm going to check with my friend to see if she's coming too, then she could help with the tack sale booth.

Yes, set up begins at 6am. I can use all the help I can get to set up what we have. I did bring some of the tack back from Jaime's yesterday but there is a bit of cleaning to be done and if anyone is going up to Jaime's and can pick up a bit more of the tack (not the blankets as I think we have a great assortment now - unless you have a lot of room and can bring them along with all the other stuff), it would be great. I am cleaning some of the items this week but there may be more that need a bit of a cleaning on Saturday. I will bring what we need to do the work.
