This is really great, what an awesome piece of art!!!!
I am still planning to do a postcard/poster more specific to SAFE, but I would love to include this painting if possible? It is really cool and definitely captures the event, I just love it!!!
Is there any way I could get the image of the painting? I would love to credit the artist.... can you confirm Janie Olsen is correct?
My email is leahand@gmail.com
I'm getting excited!

I was sent the art from Maeve so she can confirm the artist. Can the official poster be linked to the website so people can download and print it from there?

ONLY 4 days until HeART of the Horse!!!!!
I hope everyone has it on their calendar and will make time to join us. We've had some really beautiful pieces come through and I'm still in collection mode so if there is anyone who has an art or photography donation or would like to contribute to the non-art silent auction.
I will be collecting items in the south sound area on Thursday & have set Friday aside to travel north if needed.
If anyone is coming to the event from the Far North end I have a feeling the Camano Island site check is also the location of some donations we'd like to have picked up and that would take care of two issues on one visit if someone can do that in the next few days (I'd double check with Jaime on that need!).
Meanwhile, I'd also like to add that any child who brings an art donation will receive a special "thank you" gift and their pieces will be displayed (and possibly sold!?) during the show.

I am not sure how folks found us at this point but I have received several emails and phone calls along the way. Yesterday/Today I picked up 21 pieces for the show and would like to give a HUGE *THANKS* to the artists & photographers. There are some truly amazing pieces coming through and I am so excited to see it all together on Sunday My estimate right now is 50-60 pieces total ... and that could go up depending on how many people bring donations on the day of the show. We're keeping the organizational stuff low key so where we will not have live music and a full catered event this time, we will have the core of what this is all about....Horses in Art and Horse and/or Art people supporting Equine Rescue! It just makes my HEART feel good knowing all of these folks have stepped up for SAFE...THANK YOU ....especially Museum Quality Framing because this is truly a company-wide effort and they've taken on so much of our burden that it feels a bit like we're not doing enough (and I can FEEL Maeve practically fainting right about now...she's done ALL of the needed organizational stuff up to this point). ... so kinda like we said last time...it's either going to be successful as an event or a fun little get-together for those who come who'll get some amazing deals on quality pieces!

WOW! ;D ;D ;D That was awesome! I only wish I could have slowed down enough to take photos but we had a good turnout and folks got some amazing deals on the beautiful work donated by so many generous artists. THANK YOU to all who came and to all of the artists & volunteers who made this happen.... ...but a HUGE THANKS to Beth & the crew of Museum Quality Framing who not only hosted the event for us but also did the graphic promotions, basically ALL OF THE SET UP and restoration. We just brought in the art and food and they did the rest...including some last minute framing and display construction. They are true angels to SAFE and the Horses! I'm totally tired but extremely happy with the outcome. When Bonnie finishes the tally I think you'll all be very happy with the outcome of this scaled down event. And to my pARTner in this event, Maeve: thank you for not only turning out such lovely pieces but taking on so much of the spirit of this event ...so much so that I could follow my dreams and take off for 2+ weeks just prior to the event. I hope the results offset the stress for you. YOU are an amazing woman I am very grateful to be associated with so many big HeARTed people.
