Hi, sorry I overlooked that info before; they are all 2003 models, which would make them 5 sometime this year (tooth-wise). Saddlebreds with last owner Jean Marie Elledge below. 111871 SEAS THE GOLDEN DAY S 04/07/1996 CREAM JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 113535 AUTUMN HAZE RKR M 07/17/1987 CHESTNUT JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 114426 IMPROMPTU DHF M 04/29/1987 CHESTNUT JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 120087 SHELL GAME M 04/03/1991 BAY,WHITE JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 129482 SULTAN'S SUNDAZZLED M 05/08/1995 BLACK,WHITE JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 139211 AD IDEM M 04/07/2003 CHESTNUT JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 139213 ACQUIESCENCE M 05/07/2003 BLACK,WHITE JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 139992 GYPSY SEASHELL M 05/08/2003 BUCKSKIN JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - 141386 MIDSUMMER'S EVE M 06/20/2004 PALOMINO JEAN MARIE ELLEDGE - Since she was interested in breeding pintos, crossbreds and not registereing with ASHA, you might want to contact the Pinto registry to find if any of her horses are registered there. www.pinto.org/contact.htmlclick and scroll down to the registration area for email addresses.

I am posting this on Willow, Hope and Annie's threads for information. I emailed the following questions to the ASHA registrar: "Hello, I am trying to clear up many questions I have been asked regarding some presumed Saddlebreds surrendered in a rescue case. At this time, the former owner has not volunteered/may not be able to locate papers, nor may they be willing to sign transfers. So, here are the questions: It appears the horses are registered (age and markings seem to match) to the party who surrendered them, but to ensure positive ID, is bloodtyping necessary? if so, what is the cost to match to one existing record – who from and how are these kits ordered? If original reg. certificates are not forthcoming, can replacement certs be requested by the current “owner” ? cost? When does the late fee for transfer kick in, since this was an emergency starvation situation and over 30 days have passed. As the Sherrifs’ office (current owner) is unlikely to want to become members to complete any transfers, would back transfers be acceptable; final transfer to an individual final owner who joins the registry? Cost? Do you allow Rescue organizations to become members with ASHA so they may transfer horses? Cost? I realize this is fairly complex and look forward to your response. Thank you for taking the time." +++ The response (within 24 hrs) "You would not necessarily need to blood type any rescued horse if all research pointed to a particular horse as being the rescued horse; however blood typing (if the horse was originally blood typed) would absolutely confirm if the horse has been identified correctly. The kits are $50 each and the kit would need to be ordered from our Registry. You can request a kit by phone and we do accept VISA or MasterCard for payment, or you may send a check or money order to the Registry, including the name of the horse. Duplicate certificates can be ordered to replace lost papers. The Affidavit for lost/destroyed papers is on our website, www.saddlebred.com, if you need one of these. The cost for the duplicate papers is $50. The transfer fee is $50 and late fees do kick in after 30 days. There are no late fees for any transfers that have not been recorded as of yet, however these “back transfers” must be submitted with the current transfer. In other words all back transfers are $50 each, no matter when the horse was bought and the current transfer is $50 plus any late fees. Membership is available to individuals only. If the recorded owner is a member then no additional membership would be required. As long as someone involved with the current transaction is a member that would cover the membership requirement. Please contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you, Petra S. Green Sr. Registry Supervisor " p.green@asha.net I hope this is of some use.

Short update from her foster home: "We are keeping an eye on Willow, but I seriously doubt that she is [pregnant]. She has come into season a second time. She is gaining weight steadily now and looks a lot better although we still have quite a ways to go with her."

I own a Saddlebred colt that I bought from Jean A couple of years ago and he looks Identical to Willow!! It's just amazing that she would do such a thing. I met with her and the horses countless times. It just makes me sick. I'm sooo happy I bought my Jaguar, I just wish I could have saved the others too. If only there was a way to know the future. Willow is doing well. I myself have not seen her recently but the farrier was out last week and got her feet trimmed. She said that Willow is looking a lot better and has gained weight. She is a bit of a handful on the ground, pushy and in need of ground manners, but she is a sweet mare. Hopefully we'll get some update photos soon!

I have recently received some additional information on the horses. Willow is in fact Gypsy Seashell, and sadly Lily was an "accidental" pregnancy by her own sire.
Willow is also a FULL sibling to both Dutchess and Phoenix (as well as Midsummer's Eve, who is owned by a woman who adopted Benny/Vivian from SAFE).
Sinatra was also an accidental pregnancy - his sire Seas the Golden Day also being his dam's sire. His dam was a mare named Sea of Wisdom (believed dead).
Annie is in fact Ad Idem and is a half sister to Hope/Acquiescence.
Kokomo's dam is Impromptu DHF.
Emma's dam was Shell Game (deceased).

Any info on the fate of Impromptu DHF or Sultan's Sundazzled, or who the dam of Sea of Wisdom might be?

The last I read on Sultan's Sundazzled was posted by Schwung on April 25 in Emma's thread? AC of Snohomish county thought she is OK?
Anything further?
If Impromptu was on the place, and (likely) pregnant, as a 21 yr old, her survival would be unlikely...but we still wonder.
Did anyone contact the Pinto registry to see if the horses were registered there? Since it cost less and there are local shows I know of a few pinto pure SBs that are only registered Pinto. -just a thought.
Thanks,

I'm pretty sure I read *somewhere* on here that AC later said they were mistaken about sundazzled and she's deceased.

Hey guys, that wasn't AC talking, that was some girl who was inquiring about Autumn Haze. Someone told her the horse was alive, and then later admitted that she was dead.
I did get a tip from AC that there was a surviving black/white mare, which I assumed to be Sultan's Sundazzled. That has not been confirmed and I don't have anything more on that.
Impromptu was among the horses saved out of Monroe.
