Hi, would SAFE need a 13 yr old volunteer? I'm 13 but my mom can take me to the barn and I love working! I could also help raise momey for SAFE. (My family is pretty good at baking ) I may be 13 but I can do a lot of work especially for horses! -Natalia

We do have an age limit of 14 (with parent permission/supervision) to work on weekends helping with chores unless you have 5 years of consistent horse experience. I will say, however, your imagination is the limit to the ways you can help. THANK YOU & I look forward to helping you follow your passion!

Hi, I was wondering if I could volunteer at SAFE. iI'm almost thirteen, and have been taking lessons and working with horses for almost 8 years (since I was 5). I'm currently training an arabian gelding. Thanks! -Lexie

Hi Lexi! We request that our volunteers be 15 or have at least 5 years of full time horse experience. There's a volunteer application at: www.safehorses.org/you_help/volunteer.htmlWe'd schedule you to come out for an orientation with a parent at first & go from there. Thank you so much for caring about rescue horses & welcome to the message board!
