Izzy will be an only horse for a little while, but the will eventually be looking for a second horse to foster or adopt.

Anything to report about Isabella? Did they ever find a second horse? Is she doing well? How's her training coming along?

Yes! There is an update on Isabella. She's doing awesome! Safe and snug at her new home in Duvall. She did find a friend. A pony named Bella. Go figure. My kids (Ava 4 and Rutger 2) think all horses have bella in their name. We've been working with her on the ground but shamefully nothing more than that. Daphne has her feet looking great and Dr. Hannah is taking great care of her as well.

She looks so great. Such a change from the horse that unloaded to our barn last year! Thanks for giving this sweet girl a good home.

I visited Isabelle and she is doing great. She is not having to do too much yet as her mom needs to deal with some round-pen footing issues before getting her back to work but she is enjoying a great life with a roly poly Arabian for company. She was friendly but did not really want to take her attention away from her pasture for a photo shoot, and it was about to storm, so I did the best I could! Isabelle did drop a few pounds in the heat and has now trained her mom that princesses only eat alfalfa. Duh. (Clearly taking a page from the Thai handbook for red mares. Thai also thinks other kinds of hay are for peeing on.)

That's funny; Alfalfa is for horses... hay is for barns.
