I would seriously be interested in doing site checks in or around my Pierce County area....Tacoma, Puyallup, Orting, Graham, Olympia, Auburn etc. What do I need to do? Submit a volunteer application? I would find this very interesting and if it would be of help just let me know!

....and I just got your application mymercedes! THANK YOU Just in case anyone else is interested in volunteering, please do go to: www.safehorses.org/you_help/volunteer.html & fill it out. Of course there is the day to day help we need in Monroe but there are many ways to volunteer to help out. Do you have a special talent? A great contact? Job experience that could translate to something administrative??? We need ALL KINDS of help! We hope to be holding a Volunteer get-together soon so we can meet face to face and share some ideas about how we all can help. Please fill out the volunteer application online to get on the list and let's all brainstorm. Once we set on a date/place/time I hope to have a questionnaire out so we can get some ideas in before the get-together. Thanks to EVERYONE who has/does/will volunteer to help out SAFE, it would be impossible to do what we do without you ;D Jet ~ Volunteer Coordinator

I sent in a volunteer form way back in May, did it get lost because I never heard anything one way or the other. Although I think I did get a confirmation letter back to my email address.

I'm new to the SAFE message board. I would love to volunteer with SAFE. I no longer own a horse of my own, but enjoy every opportunity to be with them. Please let me know how I can help SAFE horses. I can clean stalls, groom, feed, ride, turn out. Rode huntseat, but enjoy western, some dressage. Thank you! -Trish aka Padraigin

I live in Kootenai County Idaho (just a bit north of Coeur D' Alene). If you had the need, I can do site checks and followups, reference checks, as well as some advertising around here. I can cover the north idaho area, as well as spokane, and possibly into cheney if need be. I am not sure if you have any fosters over here, but it might open up options for you?

There's someone else here from Kootenai County?! I thought I was the only one! ;D Maybe next "volunteer day" we CAN do a carpool! LOL

Hey, I just sent in a volunteer application. I had to laugh at the Kootenai County comment. I had family in Kooskia, Salmon, and went to college at UM over the hill in Missoula, even though I'm in Winlock now. *waves to the Idahoans*
I'm somewhat local to the rescue if you guys still need volunteers, I'd be glad to help out.

I grew up in Kooskia. And I guarantee you 98% of the people reading this won't pronounce that correctly!
