Are you interested in helping SAFE?
We are currently seeking personable, motivated volunteers to help us with some of the mountains of work we have to do behind the scenes to make things happen!
Some of the types of volunteer jobs available: - Doing site checks - Doing reference checks - Doing follow-up emails and site visits on adopted SAFE horses - Advertising - Web Design - Putting up flyers in tack shops - Assisting with fundraisers - Transporting horses - Hands on work with horses in foster care
And more!
Location is not a factor for many of the volunteer positions, so do not feel like you have to live in the Washington area.
If interested, please contact Jaime at jaime@safehorses.org

I already did one site check for SAFE in Otis Orchards...more than happy to do more in North Idaho/Spokane if the need is ever there. Also, anything else I can help with way over here I'd be more than happy to accommodate. I don't do anything but stay home with my twins all day, so bring it on!

Wow, this is great guys! I have a list of horses that need follow-up site visits. I think some might be in your respective areas. Can I email you a list of locations and see if any of them will work for you?

Oh, another thing to add, I will be assisting my neighbor who is a TB trainer on posting some of her TBs on the race horse section. Still in the works with it. She has a couple that aren't going to make it on the track, and one VERY nice event/dressage prospect, that is VERY flashy!! Stay tuned for that.

Thanks to all of you for stepping up - Would you all mind reviewing the list and maybe pick out the volunteer stuff you are most interested in doing? And, if relevant, perhaps the areas that you would be willing to go to, to do site visits?
