You both look fabulous in these! Annie looks like an earnest schoolgirl and ballerina at the same time.

Thanks, Monica; I am critical of my own performance (aren't we all?) but Annie has come a really long ways in the past couple years so I am super proud of her. The Dressage judge commented that she is a talented horse and has a lot of potential. I ahve grown quite fond of her

Annie update time She has been progressing so well undersaddle and is really fun to work with. I'm introducing the concept of counter-canter to help her with her balance and fitness, she has a tendancy to use the rail to help her balance, so we've been doing lots of quarter-line work at the trot and began quarter-line cantering this past week. She feels pretty wobbly without the rail at first, but when she steadies we move back toward the rail, kind of doing a length-wise serpetine in the arena. She appears to like the new challenge. Though we always end our ride with a long stretchy trot. Now that she knows she's able, she loves to trot long and low, it's a pretty awesome feeling I really hope she gets a home soon, she will just bloom with her person (no, it isn't me ) and the sky is the limit for this special girl.

I rode Annie yesterday and, despite some pretty impressive wind gusts, was a very good girl as usual. She has a date with a potential adopter on Friday, so cross your fingers that they click Here is Caiti cooling McFuzzybutt Annie after our ride, bareback no less!

Good Luck Annie. Hope it works out. You have been so loyal and good to her Allison, she is lucky you took her on.

Thanks, Lynn. I am thankful for Annie's earlier riders, Kyle and Sarah, as well as Andrea for giving her the foundation that we've all built on. She really is a very dynamic and versatile horse. She has taught me so much about my riding, she makes you work. I'm going to miss her when she moves on, but she has a fantastic life ahead of her. Really unlimited potential with this girl.
