at my last count I had 4 or more Parrot Head volunteers, including my ACE ticket salesman! My husband and son are also coming & said they can help out as well. Hopefully there will be enough people to give breaks and allow volunteers some spectator time.

Unfortunatley, Redmond won't be able to join us this year; I am still coming - I am bringing all the prizes that I promised as well as advertisements. I have alot invested in this show - I will probably stay as a spectator.

Unfortunatley, Redmond won't be able to join us this year; so I have made Honeydofarm the English Ring Steward. It looks like all the positions will be covered, but we can always use people for the random things that pop up. Are there going to be enough people to work the booth and concessions? Is everyone willing to move around so no one gets tired? Being on your feet as the gate person, ring steward and ribbon diva can be tiring so I want to be sure that everyone is OK with jumping around as needed. Also, looks like the only rideables that will be coming are Cedar and Little Miss. I have Monicabee and Leahlady as the riders for those two. Cedar could do w/t/c, but I think Little Miss will only be up to w/t. I will let the riders make that decision, though. Let me know if anyone as any questions/suggestions/concerns regarding the volunteers. PS - Are all the show volunteers going to be wearing SAFE shirts? Good idea for them to, me thinks. If you need a shirt for the show, do let someone know so one can be available. Thanks everyone!!!!!!! I am getting pumped for this event!!!! I am good with whatever you need. I do need to know what time I need to be there and will need a shirt as well if you go that route. Also, what time can we set up the concessions and other tents? I am still hoping that we can sell some artwork (paintings, photos of SAFE horses) as well. Leah...you too, if you're interested! I am so looking forward to being Ribbon Diva. I will need some coaching on what is expected but I'm a quick learner. Countdown 20 days!

I don't think that we will have access to the grounds the night before, so it will bright and early in the morning. I plan on getting there between 6 and 630am.

I will be there as soon as I can to work on trails set up, but I'm not going to be there Friday night. I'll be leaving here at about two in the morning on Saturday morning to be there in time. I'm expecting an arrival time of about 7 in the morning, hence the reason I need to know if everything I need will already be there for me.

Crystal, if you want to come the night before and need a place to stay, let me know. I am happy to put you up for the night.

LOL...How did you guess? I am still working out a couple of other side issues also. No one will be coming with me this year, and we just found out my other half will be out on the road that weekend, so I'm scrambling to find someone to watch the twins for the weekend. I'm sure it will work out though, and I very well may take you up on that generous offer, Jaime! Thank you!!

FYI, Allison...if we're short on volunteers, I only really need someone to help me first thing in the morning with set up of the course. Two someones might even be better to get it all dragged to the trails arena and then set up. After that, I don't need the help as badly, although someone to help with the gate and questions is something I won't turn down if we have extra bodies!
Also, I plan on being to the grounds by about six thirty, so I need my volunteers to be there early (seven would be great) too please.

I still have my shirt from last show and will bring it to wear.
Nobody's riding Whiskey in the show? She's made such huge progress this last year, I hoped she was going to be there for us to all see and applaud!

Whiskey has a date with a potential adopter from what I understand, Cat. I think that is a good reason to miss the show!

I think Kurt and I are planning on coming up on Friday evening. I cannot imagine getting up at 3am so I can get there by 6:30-Yuck. I hope the hotel we find will not mind if I have Billy-Bob and Ralph in the back of the truck. I hope the weather will not be too hot for them.
I will bring my Kwik-Shade and a small table for the Prize Drawing items. I will need to display the saddles we are having. Does anyone coming to the show have a saddle rack we could use for the day?
I can bring a cooler also. What else is needed?
Oh yeah, I am bringing my hubby, Kurt. He is an excellent helper.
