Trillium, is your hubby coming this year? He made quite the wonderful assistant at the gate last year!

Yes, I think Kurt will be coming with me to the show. As long as my daughter does not have a suprise softball tournament. She is not scheduled for one at this time. He definatly is a good helper.

Hi, I would like to volunteer to work at the show. I grew up riding in Bridle Trails. My husband has expressed interest in coming, too. We ran several 4-H shows there when I was a kid for the Trail Trotters & Evergreen Flying Hooves. Feeling old now.. Let me know if/what I can do.

Thanks Honeydo! I have assigned you to the second western ring steward and put your husband down for setup/tear down for trails and such. We will find plenty for everyone to do!
I will need to have some more people for concessions and ribbons. Anyone interested?

Is there a time frame for when people need to be there? Pre show meeting, etc?

I'm still trying to switch things around so I can go. I just don't want to say "Yes, I'll be there" and then be a 'no show'.

The first class is at 8am, so if you are volunteering during the AM it would be a good idea to be there around 7am to help with set up and such.
Amy - If you can come, I will find something for you to do!

I'm another "want to be there but can't commit just yet". My daughter starts her soccer season very soon and I should have a better idea if she'll have a tournament that weekend or not. As soon as I know for sure I will update here but will do my best to at least stop by and lend a hand for a few hours!

I would love to volunteer for this event. Please let me know what you need. I may be small but I'm very strong and very people (and animal) friendly.

At our big Parrot Head function last weekend I rounded up 3 more volunteers plus my husband, of course, will come and do whatever needs to be done.
I'm also working on my BEST drawing ticket salesman...I'm pretty sure he'll be willing to come. He LOVES horses!!

Unfortunatley, Redmond won't be able to join us this year; so I have made Honeydofarm the English Ring Steward. It looks like all the positions will be covered, but we can always use people for the random things that pop up.
Are there going to be enough people to work the booth and concessions? Is everyone willing to move around so no one gets tired? Being on your feet as the gate person, ring steward and ribbon diva can be tiring so I want to be sure that everyone is OK with jumping around as needed.
Also, looks like the only rideables that will be coming are Cedar and Little Miss. I have Monicabee and Leahlady as the riders for those two. Cedar could do w/t/c, but I think Little Miss will only be up to w/t. I will let the riders make that decision, though.
Let me know if anyone as any questions/suggestions/concerns regarding the volunteers.
PS - Are all the show volunteers going to be wearing SAFE shirts? Good idea for them to, me thinks. If you need a shirt for the show, do let someone know so one can be available.
Thanks everyone!!!!!!! I am getting pumped for this event!!!!
