I have some stuff & am making boxes to bring.
Also: I have a friend who's donating a set of 3 paintings....not my style but kind of "barn-themed"
I have a whole stack of ceramic tiles (the 4x4" ones) in green/blue and off-white. Do you think they'd be good yard sale items? We're talking several boxes full!
I've also got mannequin heads!!! the Cosmetology kind... does anyone think they'd be ok yard sale items? I get $10 a piece on ebay but I have TOO MANY!!!! I'd be happy to bring a dozen of those...
I asked Les if there was anything in the garage he'd like to get rid of and the look in his eyes made me clarify that to "any of YOUR stuff!"

Also, altho we do have receipts - it would be a good idea for you to list the things you are donating (and your assessed value) and then staple the receipt to the paper - so come tax time you don't forget what you donated.

Is anyone taking donations in the eastside area (issaquah/sammamish/redmond/bellevue)? I do have the books I mentioned as well as I found a new-in-the-box modern (ikea) reading light. It's a cool little thing we just don't need it.

Val - FYI - I am attempting to contact some Professional Organizers in the Seattle area to see if we can drum up some material donations to the yard sale.
I see a parallel between what they do (at times, organize hoarders' homes) and what SAFE does (at times, take in hoarders' horses).
I'll keep you posted.

Ok - but tell them we're full up on dirty tupperware lids.
