Bella looks soooooooooooooooo great!! WOW!!! Thanks so much for taking care of these angels! I'm so glad they found you all. So so so so thankful. I miss Pie Pie's sun dial. And Bella is obviously getting stronger~ she's moving much quicker. You all managed to bring a grateful tear to my eyes~ again! Thanks again.

OH~ I guess I didn't get to read all of Pie's stuff before I responded. Sooo sad. My tears of joy went to tears of total sadness. Then back to joy, because he has all of you and he's not with the Hotchkiss's anymore. I hate them. Everyday I think back to the horrible things they did, and didn't do~ feed them, hang out with them...love them. I'm so sorry Pie and Bella had to suffer. Thanks so much for all you've done for them and especially Pie Pie in his last years. I wish I could come see him. Maybe when that big tax check comes! Thanks again.

I'm the friend of Cat's who bought Raven from Alyssa. And I can tell you first hand that she is an absolute ANGEL to these horses!! Raven wasn't a rescue, but she did an absolutely amazing job raising and training him. He's a dream come true! She LOVES her animals and they get top notch care. If anybody can help these two, it's her. I will keep Pie in my prayers and hope for all of his remaining days to be pain free and care free. I know Alyssa will give him all the love he could want, no matter how long he is with her. Isabelle is going to be an absolute knockout when she's back to full health, fat, and shiny again! They got very lucky when they arrived at Alyssa's barn!

Oh Angie, you make me want to cry, you are so sweet. I sent a ton of pictures and an update on Isabelle to Jaime today. Hopefully she will post them for me soon, I can't wait for everyone to see how much weight Isabelle has gained and the little surprise . . . (no she is not pregnant)

So now I have a request, I don't know if this is the right place to put it but since it is for Pi and Isabelle, I will put it here. Pi and Is should be able to get their vaccines soon and I would like to start putting them out with my other horses. My big problem is that that area does have some nasty old barb wire fencing that I have just not gotten to replacing yet (I have already replaced acres of the worst parts) I am a single mom that works full time along with doing my horse rescues and I could really use some help with the labor to replace this short section of fencing. I use t-post and hot tape here and I am sure I have plenty of t-posts, caps and clips but I will need to get some more tape. The job will need to be done in 1 day and should only take a few hours if there are 3- 4 people. The worst part of it is that the trees that go along this section have grown around the wire and some trees may have to be cut down. It is really not that bad I just can't do it by my self. My farm is in Sultan and really easy access to highway 2. If you think you can help out, let me know, this group is pretty good at getting coordinated.

One more thing, the only english bridle that I have is way too big for Isabelle's petite noggin (the one I have is warmblood size), does anyone have a regular horse size english bridle with a caveson that they could loan her while she is here? I could also use a d-ring or full cheek smooth snaffle, I gave mine away with my last rescue, the only snaffle bit I have is a loose ring twisted wire, I don't think Is will be needing that. Thanks in advance, I know someone will come up with something. <<<Update>>> I found an old dried up headstall in my barn loft and have given it a good soaking in harness honey, I think it will work for Isabelle so does anyone have a nice D-Ring or Full cheek snaffle that I could borrow or buy cheap? I can't currently afford to go buy one of any quality for her and I really don't want to keep her in this twisted wire snaffle that I have for my bully warmblood filly

I have said all along I thought she'd be a darling short stirrup hunter one day...you can really see it now. She is a good mover and could be very competitive, and she loves kids. It's great that you are able to work with her - she is certainly good enough weight now to start building back her muscle tone. This mare is going to be a total knockout.

I had to crack up when I saw the first picture. I know it was for comparison, but I am just glad no one was looking over my shoulder when I was looking at it. At least you did not take one of her "winking" LOL

She is *really* coming along - I don't have an extra bridle but I can send you up a 5" (I think!) Dr. Bristol if you'd like. (Not sure what size she is?). Also - re: I could really use some help with the labor to replace this short section of fencing. I might be able to help in the next couple weeks as I intend to come up to Monroe on a Sunday - I'll PM you as my plans firm up. It might be that Mr. CC also comes, in which case we should be able to do it quickly. Plus, I'd love to meet you Pie and Isabelle in person.

If you still need a bridle and bit, let me know. I have a ton of extras! Also, if and when a "work party" is set up let me know and I will see what I can do to get over there. Sometimes I am able to get over there and sometimes not.

I always love a good work party so count me in on whatever day it's planned for. I'll bring the cold beer! (for those of age, of course).

A full size is generally warmblood size (unless what you have is Oversize). The smaller size is Cob size, is that the size you need? I think I have one not being used.
