Well, even trying to follow instructions, I couldn't post the image. This is Fred, my "first horse." Beth Thompson (who is now a member here) told me about him because I told her I wanted to help rescue a horse, I think it was last May. He was part of an AC seizure from a Nevada junkyard. He was very skinny, and his stablemate had died of starvation. The owner called him "Horse." He was named Fred after Fred Sanford and taken in by Miracle Horse Rescue. He had sores in his mouth like Isabelle and when his teeth were floated, the "dentist" said he thought it was probably for the first time. I am his sponsor for life because he will be a sanctuary horse. He's in his 20s. He is the second horse on this post: forums.prospero.com/alexbrown/messages?msg=6053.45821Doesn't he look wonderful now? So content, and Stephanie calls him her "chunky monkey." Check out those eyes. I love how horses can come back with good care! ;D

He is adorable, and reminds me so much of our Dobbin. Thank you for being his sponsor and helping ensure he has a wonderful and safe retirement!

My son named him - Crookshanks is the name of Hermione's cat in the Harry Potter series and is an orange cat.

Man..... I guess I won't be challenging anyone to a contest in pop culture any time soon..... I don't know why I sort of feel embarrassed but I do! Is it un-American to not have read nor really watched the Harry Potter movies? (Husband watched...I glanced - I was no doubt on this board)
