Hi HC! Just posted a note about sending in the 100 for Bint. Just let me know where to mail to and who to mail to. Bella is doing great...looks 100% better! Feeling quite full of herself, too. I just got up to walk her around and she bucked me off and took off for the barn! Thought I would give her a treat - ride her around a freshly mowed pasture, but..ah well! Then, today, she had her first bath - was not too thrilled about it, but I'm sure it had to feel good in this heat! She's getting a pal this week - another Thoroughbred mare from the Canadian SPCA . I hope all is well with you! I love reading your posts and seeing your photos!

Hi all, OK! I finally got the new "girl" home from the SPCA! She didn't want to go in the trailer, but fortunately the fellow (Fenton, from Dalton Hauling) was patient and just like her new "mom", was compelled to go in for a big bowl of food! When she arrived at the barn, she was as cool as a cucumber...I put her fly mask on and turned her loose in her own, private 15 acres - Bella was in the field next to her and let it be known that she is the "queen bee!" After much stamping, stomping and whinnying...... Sassy arched her long neck, sniffed the air and took off, her Arab- like tail in the air and the most gorgeous extended trot I've ever seen! Bella (that spunky geriatric!!) kept up the pace next door - to her credit! My daughter asked me if there was any way Bella could be pregnant, since she has gained tons of weight...I told her "not unless the gelding "Can Do" is really living up to his name! Pretty hilarious! I will get photos taken tomorrow and post as soon as possible!
