SAFE earned a total of $22,918.79 in 2006. Sources for that income are as follows:

Expenses Summary
SAFE spent a total of $18,589.27 in 2006. Expenditures can be broken down as follows:
Program Services*...........93.76%

Management Expenses.......1.61%
(*Program Services include foster horse care, community outreach, contributions to other rescues, and purchase of horses in need.)

Just a quick question Jaybird - how was the Fundraiser that Slewgirl did for us get accounted for? Is that on there somewhere?

I'm not an accountant, I just play one on the internet.  The money that Slewgirl raised at her fundraiser I classified as a donation to SAFE, and it is included in the line for donations. The reason I didn't call it Fundrasing Income was because SAFE didn't actually put on the fundraiser itself.
Just to clarify, the IRS wants to see our expenses categorized into the following categories: Fundraising, Management & General Expenses, and Program Services. The only fundraiser that SAFE held last year was the Groundwork Clinic. So you can see what we spent to put on that fundraiser and what we took in from it.
